Thank you very much for the delivery of the battery pack. Here are my first impressions.

The Gens ace 3s/2200mAh Lipo pack arrived nicely wrapped in bubble wrap packaged in a cardboard box. The battery pack is neatly manufactered with extra heat shrink tube protection on the battery leads at the critical transition from the pack. Connections are made via a 4mm gold plug/socket and a JST-H balancer plug. Ratings ar a max 25C discharge rate and a max charge rate of 5C. Upon delivery the battery was conditioned at 3,82 Volt/cell with a perfect balance of max 1mV. The weight is 180g and fits perfectly in 450 size helicopters like T-Rex 450 and MSH Mini Protos.

First flights with my standard soft 3D program resulted in similar flight times compared to my other 3s/2200 40C batteries. After 6 1/2 minutes of flight the pack temperature is low and comparable to the my 40C batteries. This might allow the conclusion the Gens ace pack has a "good" 25C rating.

Should the retail price be in an acceptable range I would recommend to give the Gens aces a try.

Actually I sent emails to you on 6.29th & 7.11th.
It is a pity that the first round of testing is over.

Hello guys, how's the flying, is there any testing report recently?

Sorry piere, didn't fly for over a week now.
But I had a quick test flight with my radian pro, the battery is the same size as the original 1300mah, so it fits perfectly.
Just according the data of the batteries it should do better, as the original one has a 12 or 15C rating only.
It flew well, i hopefully will do a nice long flight sometime this week, weather is going to be finally summer.
I will try to get a log of the flight then!
