ich bin mal zu einem EM-Slotracinglauf nach Spanien geflogen, als Handgepäck die Werkzeugkiste. Ich wollte nicht dass die Kiste beim Boarding durchleuchtet wird(wg der empfindlichen Motoren). Hab die Motoren raus und dann die Kiste aufs Band, dass gab reichlich verdutzte und nervöse Gesichter als auf dem Bildschirm die Umrisse von 2 Pistolengriffreglern erschienen.
Das wäre heute wohl undenkbar nach 911, mit all den Bastellmessern usw.

sowas ähnliches hatte ich letztes Jahr auch mal. Da bin ich von Düsseldorf nach Birmingham geflogen mit Hochfrequenzkabeln und jede Menge Elektronik im Handgepäck. Nach dem durchleuchten musste ich sofort meinen Rucksack aufmachen. Das Interesse der Beamte beschränkte sich aber vollkommen auf die HF-Kabel weil diese wegen der Abschirmung nicht durchleuchtet werden konnten. Als nächstes musste ich mit drei Beamten in einen separaten Raum. Dort bin ich dann nett gefragt worden was ich mit dem ganzen Zeug vor habe. Nach einer ausführlichen Erklärung durfte ich dann doch mitfliegen

Have for some time ago, a mail dialog with the man him self, when I told him that I was using the trottel on channel 3, for the Jazz controller, he wrote ->

Dear Soeren,

You CANNOT use a throttle curve with the jazz, you MUST take the
govenor mode. Please take only a switch on channel 7 or 8 and for the
Jazz. Make the right rpm B4you with "End Point" or "Center"
function of the transmitter. Take not channel 3 (throttle)
the controller must not get any different signals

So my point is, I was using the throttle CH 3, to make the same like You Tracer 50 x 4. and 75 x 4. 100 x 4 and still have the right upper swift to use for failsafe,
and now I went to the advice form Lutz. The point is not to make any change in the setup like a idle 1 up ( 30.40.60.80.) the JAZZ will not like it…

Just put on some pictures of my upgrades, to make the Heli more stabile, for my point of view.

My lipo task force, 2 x left is 6s2p 4400mAh 16 - 18 C. 55 C. 700 gram
upper right corner Hyperion CL cells litstorm 4200 mAh 16C getting to hot ower 65 C. 550 gram
and the last is 4400 mAh 20 C super cell only 40 C when using them indoor 750 gram insane power...

The picture with the tail, the blade shows a 2-4 degrees to the right when centred, and then the link on the servo needs to place exactly in the centre of the servo 0 Grade

The SAB carbon for the flybar is much better to use, more stabil when hover, the The flybar blades is very aerodynamic balanced, and the price is in DK 50 euro
but is the best value money can get

I thought you were talking about PCM-failsafe with "failsafe".
Now I guess you think of the ThrottleHold?

Nevertheless, both are identical in my setup.
Just kill the engine, either on purpose (throttle hold) oder in case of a radio failure (PCM-failsafe).

Well, Lutz' words are a little bit misleading.
You CAN have the Jazz on channel 3 OR you can have it on a separate channel.

If you have it on a separate channel, you can be sure that no mixing in the radio interferes with your setup.
Besides, if you are sure what you do, take channel 3 and use the special helicopter features of 9C, like throttle hold (and throttlecut, not necesary for electro).

As usual, there is no definite right or wrongt, there are several resonable ways to handle your throttle, even when using channel 3.

I use the setup like above, with 0-0-0-0-0 on "norm" as a security feature.

When I switch on my radio, no mixing is enabled, so I know I'm "safe".
When I turn on my radio, and mixing is enabled (the radio notifies with sound and light) it could be either throttlehold or idle up. So, just by checking the red light, I can't determine if the engine would start or not.

BUT when no there's no flashing light, in my setup I can be sure nothing unexpected will happen.

Hallo zusammen,
bald ist es so weit, dann geht er wohl zum ersten mal in die Luft.... .
Ber Bausatz war Klasse, ich musste allerdings zwei der 3mm Gewindebohrungen in der Domplatte "nacharbeiten" da Spähne drinsteckte, aber nicht der Rede Wert, ansonsten passte einfach alles auf Anhieb.

Für alle Interessierten anbei ein paar Bilder meines neuen Spielzeuges.
Ein paar Kleinigkeiten noch (Akkueinbau, Antennenverlegung, die üblichen Einstellungen).
Bin schon gespannt, wie er im Vergleich zu meinem ECO8 so fliegt .

wie immer schönes Teil !
War mit meinem Roxxter nun auch schon ein paarmal in der Luft und muß
sagen: Der Vergleich Roxxter - Eco8 ist wie Eco8 - Piccolo.

Bin vor 2 Tagen mal wieder mit meinem Eco "geschwebt" bei ein bischen Wind. Der war sooooo dermaßen Windempfindlich, hatte es schon total vergessen.
Danach mit dem Roxxter und der stand wie ne`1.
Macht also Riesenlaune !!!

Ich wünsche Dir viel Spass bei Deinem "ersten mal"!!!

Hi Günni,
hast recht keine Vergleich.
Bin heute das erste mal mit dem Chassis durch den Garten geschwebt und bekomme das Grinsen gar nicht aus dem Gesicht. Der RoXXter liegt verglichen mit dem ECO8 wie das buchstäbliche Brett in der Luft. Einfach nur genial, das macht Lust auf mehr.
