Ardu-Copter mit 6DOF / 9DOF-IMU ?

Fabian verschickt die für 75.- incl. Versand. Da kann man nicht meckern. Bei den anderen üblichen Verdächtigen bezahlt man für ne 9DOF-IMU immerhin knappe 100.- zzgl. Versand, und bei Fabian weiß ich das die IMU ab WMC 1.6 eingebunden ist.

Soll in 3 - 4 Tagen hier sein, er schickt sie heute raus.

I played a little bit with this boards and they works. But I still can't use it for my quadrocopter because I still waiting for parts from HongKong.

@Crizz, I've seen in another thread that you received your FreeIMU.
You can test it using the Arduino FreeIMU library at http://www.varesano.net/projects/hardwa ... MU#library

yep, it arrived yesterday

Built it in my copter this morning and had first testing. Was horrible, very "kinky" behavior. At this ppint, i had used the same tape i did with the WMP - a very strong and rigid ones.

So i changed it for a very soft one, and now it´s very stable - much better than with WMP , Autolevel is much more accurate than Nunchuk ever did.

Only prob is that my EDFs are starting to go loco after 60 sec. of flight, guess the 20A HK-ESC doesn´t love the trigger frequency and go nuts. Can´t be an overload problem, max. current is 18 A per each.

So will check with other ESC ( Pentium 30, my only doubt is to burn them : they are signed for 2-3 cells Lipo or 12 cell NiXX , need to power my EDFs by 4s Lipo. Would be same voltage like 12s NiXX, but I worry about the load current - will see later ) , when this issue is solced and a true flight is possible i can tell more

Fabio, you got it ? Next Gen of FreeIMU possibly with barometric unit MS5803-01BA ?

btw : my Copter waits for new ESCs, the actual ones to weak for 4s. More later.

I'm very open to add a barometer in the next FreeIMU .. 10cm precision looks good in many applications, not only 4copters
