1.04 Update released

The final release of out 1.04 update is now available from the downloads section. This update contains a huge number of new features and improvements and also contains new models and some bug fixes for the previous versions of Phoenix:

New Features

-fully destructible aircraft: wings, control surfaces, landing gear and rotor-blades can break off with realistic sound-effects. Breakages are fully physically modelled and effect flight characteristics.
-Failures panel:
___-setup preset or random failures of engine(s) and control surfaces.
-all-new window system:
___-resize simulator window with your mouse to any size
___-set a fullscreen mode and swap between windowed and fullscreen
___-minimised/maximised/normal modes all saved and independant
___-select different refresh rates in fullscreen
-all-new configurable streamer system:
___-set different streamers for wing-tips and tail-plane
___-choose from a selection of patterns and colours, or make your own streamers

-wind-sock with realistic flag effect
-software idle-up, gyro-gain and model-reset
-HDR lighting effects for extra realism
-competitions and training-modes in online multiplayer
-ability to edit aircraft online
-sky-compass helps show your position against clear skies more easily
-control expo can now be optionally set per model using the edit-aircraft > fine-tuning menu
-all-new sound library for crisper effects and enhanced compatibility
-fuel failures can be reset by clicking the warning indicator
-streamlined variant creation tools
-extra variants added for performance models
-transmitter Calibration, CCPM demixing and New Profile Wizards all redesigned to be clearer, with more concise diagrams.
-problems with duplicating/editing stock profiles fixed
