Unterschied zwischen DR-DOS und MS-DOS ???

Jedes "OpenDOS" würde ich gegenüber MSDOS bevorzugen - da gibts dementsprechende Foren und besseren Support... wenn der Hersteller deiner Soft DRDOS für optimal empfinden, dann saugs Dir doch aus dem Netz und machs auf ne eigene Partition - wie schon gesagt, ich halte das wirklich für die sauberste Variante...

Du kannst aber auch 'ne KnoppixCD booten, auf der DU Dir nen individuellen Kernel kompiliert hast, von dort nen RAMDRIVE definieren, in dem DU die DRDOS-Programme vom USB-Stick installierst, vorher musst Du natürlich unter Virtell-PC Deinen Kommandozeileninterpreter in ner root-Konsole starten - öhm - war'n Scherz ...

Oh ja, das waren noch Zeiten... damals hiess das Ding noch DER Modem und man musste den Telefonhörer in diese Gummimanschetten pressen... und man tippte noch schneller als die Buchstaben durch die Leitung gingen... Meinen ersten hab' ich damals nach einem Plan in der Elektor selbergebaut.Aber es hiess nicht der Modem, sondern der Koppler Smile
War das cool, als die ersten Zeichen auf dem Bildschirm erschienen !
Das kennt Heute ja gar keiner mehr

BTX habe ich nie benutzt.

da war doch noch was vor BTX. Datex J, oder P. Damit hats bei mir angefangen. Ich konnte Anfangs mit dem Modem 1200 baud senden und empfangen.
